Guest guest
I was somewaht disappointed by the lack of response to my posting 3980 and 4069 on Sarcoidosis. Except Dr. Venugopal no one responded. I suppose there is not much experience available on this condition. Anyway to keep the group updated: we consulted Dr. Triguna in Delhi who has identified it as a problem with Kidneys and prescrined Punarnavarist and Panchtrinasav. Will report progress in due course. Guest guest
Dear Vinod, When a diagnosis is made using modern science, the names of the diseases are often confusing to ayurvedists. Dr Venugopal treated as lung problem and offered treatment and now it is diagnosed as a problem with kidneys! When symptoms and details of the case are not fully submitted, this kind of confusion is natural. Even now, this author is not sure whether group has a correct picture. If it is a purely Kidney Problem only, whatever be the type, there are certain PanchGavya medicines available. Total renal failure, kidney rejecting Ca/P etc are conditions where there exists past experience. Neuro-Sarcoidosis, being a collection of granuloma detected in Brain MRI, no description in Ayurveda, but only when one gets full picture of patients symptoms, pulse etc some thinking can be done. A post giving full details was recently posted by Claudia Richey, which can be seen as a model format.
