Guest guest
Dear Members A message posted by Dr Durgesh Mankikar is being re-posted here on his behalf. "Para Vidya is not goals of life--it is knowledge devoid of worldly goals. Just higher goal of Nirvana, or Moksha, as defined by Swami Dayananda Saraswati. while Apara Vidya is all that you need in this worldly life, including your " goals in life", and all the knowledge necessary here.." Durgesh Mankikar, MD "jagchat01" Re: Allopathy I would also like to point out that there are two kinds of knowledge, the higher science or the spiritual science and the lower science or the science of day to day living (Para Vidya, Apara Vidya). While the higher science points out the goal of life, the lower science guides us on secular matters. The materialists embrace the lower science in its entirety while the spiritual giants shun it. As Sri Ramakrishna retorted to his elder brother, "I do not care for bread and butter education. I am here to gain the ultimate knowledge".
