Alzhemer's disease is one of the kinds of vataroga occurs mainly at old

age,As per Ayurveda as age advances the domination of vata also increases,giving

rise to vata diseases.For a better management of this diseases it requires the

medicines which are to be "Medhya,Rasayana,Balya,Brimhana and vatahara,there are

several medicines are made available .

 

 

Personally i prefer fomulations in Ghrita form

Ex:Brahmi ghritam,Panchagavaya ghritam,Daimadi ghritam.

 

A reference in one of reputed books of ayurveda"VAIDYA CHINTAMANI" decribes

the astrological aspect of vataroga cause.It is like this.

 

'" Atimsaruta vegartoo paraswahaaree vilolamathichesta

Karkata samste bhanou swaputradrushe pumaanpishunah."

 

" if sun stay in Karkataka rashi at the time of birth and is aspected by

Shani(Saturn) that person will suffer from vata diseases.

As a requirement for an accredited college program in which I am

enrolled, I am committed to doing a serious astrological research

thesis on Alzheimer's Disease. I would very much appreciate if members

will share the birth data of anyone you know who is afflicted with the

illness...I need PLACE, NAME and TIME of birth and if possible, the

date of the first onset of symptoms or diagnosis. I do not need other

personal information.

 

I welcome any other information about Alzheimer's Disease that members

will kindly share.
