Guest guest
I agree with the post that states that vegetarinism is not common in Kerala. Most Hindus eat eggs, fish and chicken with large percentage eating large variety of animal foods. Some of my best friends and family members call themselves vegetarians but they take eggs and fish daily. My observation is that a large percentage of peoples from all classes eat mainly rice, sambar, and meat or eggs as their staple diet - many people rarely eat vegetables on a daily basis - many do eat fruits reguarly.
