Guest guest
Namaste everyone! This message is for anyone who has any good tips to help with a current health problem I've been dealing with for 4 months. I recently returned to work from maternity leave. There are several of us in the same workplace suddenly experiencing sinus/asthma problems that are possibly due to "sick building syndrome". At first I went to walk in medical clinics - I had to go 3 times in 2 months and each physician said it was a sinus infection and put me on a round of anti-biotics (a different one each time...) finally I had my sinus's x-rayed which came back clear meaning no sinus infection (that's why the anti-biotics didn't work!) I saw an allergist who put me on cortico-steroid nasal sprays, saltwater nasal mist, moisturizing nasal mist, oral asthmatic pills (although I don't have asthma, they're supposed to help the nasal passages as well???) and an anti-histamine. I ended up with an allergic reaction to the asthma pills and the anti-histamine didn't help - so I'm off both medications but still taking all the nasal sprays. Now I'm having colon problems from all the anti-biotics killing the good bacteria. Is there any good Ayurvedic techniques to relieve the sinus pain and get my colon back to normal? Guest guest
Jen You must clear your toxin load in liver. Once it starts producing adequate bile, your acidity, gases etc will be automatically taken care of. Since getting good ayurvedic products everywhere is difficult, it would be best to try locally available and naturopathic remedies. As a simple step, you can take butter milk or yoghurt enema alternate day for a week. The procedure avaialble at curezone.com In ayurveda too, when there are watery loose motions, gases etc, especially due to washing away of intestinal flora as a result of food posioning (through anti-biotics or parasite killing fast medicines) this author recommends taking yoghurt or buttermilk along with Rice+Green gram dhal (1:1) Khitchri to support the body for a week, if taken twice/thrice a day. Avoid fats, heavy to digest proteins. In second week you can try liver flush, described at receipe no. 8 on the page: http://curezone.com/cleanse/liver/default.asp Amongst total of nine procedures described there, this 7 day programme is for all ages, sex and weak as well as strong patients. Good results have been obtained by this author with this procedure. There are many liver medicines and medicines for improving metabolism, but getting them is difficult in western countries. Reduce the dependence on sprays, as the condition improves. Regards Dr Bhate ayurveda, "karmadharm" <tequilatime_2000> wrote: help with a current health problem I've been dealing with for 4 > months.
