Guest guest
An ayurvedist must search for the root of the patients disease, even if it is dental. For past 25 years or so, Fluorinated Tooth paste is being used by most Inidans. Dentists guard health of our teeth but it is this tooth paste which takes care of dentists teeth. That kind of propoganda goes on! The lions share of Indian tooth paste market is enjoyed by single MNC. against this backdrop a disturbing research from a most reputed university in world is described at: _http://www.fluoridealert.org/health/cancer/osteosarcoma.html_ (http://www.fluoridealert.org/health/cancer/osteosarcoma.html) _http://www.ewg.org/issues/siteindex/issues.php?issueid=5030_ (http://www.ewg.org/issues/siteindex/issues.php?issueid=5030) Dr BHate
Guest guest
Dear Doctors/Friends, The Indian media too has come out with the finding that toothpaste marketed by the MNC's consists of chalk, bone ash or powder, fluoride, gel (bone gelatine?) and mint essence. The cost of production is less than 1/20th of the MRP. The system of brushing using a nylon brush is also damaging both to the enamel as well as for the gums. You waste an entire years growth of enamel with one month of intense brushing. Gums get lacerated with the nylon brushes leading to bleeding. Finger brushing is best and is more than sufficient to clean teeth and keep it healthy. Sensing the increased demand for ayurvedic toothpastes, the MNC's too have jumped into manufacturing them. It is demand and profit alone that matters to them.
