Guest guest
Namaste, Is it true that Ayurveda comes from Dravidians? This is very important to me as I describe the history of Ayurveda. Thank you Miriam Argaman
Guest guest
Lord siva is a Dravidian, He was discussing medicine with his wife Parvathi where as nandhi, the bull told the message to his deciples, Agasthiya and other saints and it went to siva following Rishies. This is how all siddha books start. Actually Two important languages were spoken in india. Sanskrit is universal langueage throuhout india , and Tamil is important south indian language. Chidambaram is the birth place of siva as evidenced by 3000 Dichidar families are in charge of temple poojas a particular race of brahimins are the people , still protecting the temple. I think no other temple has such a special priest team. AS per Tamil siddha sasthra Dhanvanthri is one of the 18 tamil saints who write the medicine. His samadhi is in a place called vaitheeswaran koil near chidambaram It is a siva temple A small granite idol in his name is found here. Some 20 kilometers awawy from here is the temple of Abirami where asuras and devas jointly tried to get amirtha from the sea. and in this temple Markandeya was a rishi when Emen the God of death tried to catch him he embraced a siva linga and lord siva saved him. Today this a famous temple and couples celebrate their 60 th anniversary as a belief of protection from Eman [god of death]. In anciant days this country was dived into 56 countrys and south indian kings were siva followers , where as some north indian kings where vishnu followers and even people where seperated by two differant religious sectors and dhanvanthri became vishnu avathara and acccepted as god of medicine. In tamil nadu Agasthiar and other 18 saints accepted as masters of medicine. Lord siva is the first known person who properly framed 64 arts , he is the man who developed all spoken languages. he was emperor also Before him there were Asuras very violent people were ruling this country and there was a great deva-asura war in which devas won, Narasima avathara, Rama killed Ravana one asura, Durga killed Mahisasuran, so she is called as Mhishasuramarthani. So the history starts back from Siva and vishnu All this may happened back some 5to 6 thousand years ago. Guest guest
hi vidyasagarji and mirianji it will be in the great interest of the history of medicine in india and also theology to integrate these two poles of thought which perhaps may bridge up the gap of thoughts and help the root of the integration of india also.In the temple of palani it is shown that the agastiyar went to himalaya and learnt the knowledge of certain herbs for the use of siddha medicine I dont know how u react with this evidence present in dravidian temple it self.lord murgan has two wives daivi and vallani one was the daughter of dravidian king but wat abt another from where she was.parvati was supose to be the daughter of himalaya is this situated in tamil nadu? kerala temples are mostly vaisnavite one either padmanabha or guruvayoor why that was not influenced by neighboural siva culture malayalam is full with sanskrit but very much influenced by tamil too why tamil do not have sanskrit words or alphbetical order or gramatical rules where as all southindian languages kannada, telgu and malyalam has influenced by sanskrit. hope i will be enlightened with the reply ayurveda, r vidhyasagar <dr_vidhyasagar_54> wrote: > Lord siva is a Dravidian, He was discussing medicine > with his wife Parvathi where as nandhi, the bull told > the message to his deciples, Agasthiya and other > saints and it went to siva following Rishies. > > This is how all siddha books start. > --- Miriam Argaman <Excellentast@h...> wrote: > > > Namaste, > > Is it true that Ayurveda comes from Dravidians?
