Guest guest
Dear Vaidyas, My sister (41 years) has been diaognosed with Sarcoidosis. The condition manifested in the form of swelling and pain in both feet. There were also some red nodules which were diognosed as Erithra nodusum. Subsequent x-ray and CT Scan of the thorax showed lymph nodes in lungs and some legions in Spleen. The condition has been a month old now. There has been no fever, weight loss or any other symptom. There is no other major medical history. Is there any Ayurvedic experience available with treatment of this condition. Guest guest
Dear Vinod, One of my clinical experiences about 3 years back, and it may help in this regard. One of my close friends who was having same findings. he just had a symptom of a little bit shortness of breath. He was put on carticosteroids by a chest physician.for 1 yr.When he seeked my advice, i considered this as a case of "SWASA VYADHI" i put him on Tab.Swasakuthar ras 2 tab with honey twicw /day,Tab.Vyoshadi Vati 2 tab twice/day with warer and gradully tappered the steroids in 1 month. and kept only on these medicines for 6 months completely. After 6 months again C.T was done and it showed no evidense of any enlarged lymph nodes in the lungs and he is still without any symptoms. Guest guest
Thanks Dr. Venu Gopal. In her case there is no shortness of breath. In fact the Pulmonary Fitness Test is clear. I will also appreciate further feedback also from other active Vaidyas on the forum.
