Dear todd

generally this kind of paddy crop is grown by the farmers in india and they

preseve their seed for the next harvesting themself so i dont think any

institution will be able to supply the seed of shastika/raktashali.you may be

aware that the shasti means sixty and the crop of paddy which get mature in

sixty days are called shastika shali(rice)this can be only posiible with this

crop if rain is continuously done for sixty days.

i am looking for a source of some of the fertile, unhulled rices

traditionally used in ayurveda, including raktashali and shastika

does anyone know of a source or supplier of these seeds?
