The formula for the jam is supposedly from the late Dr Balraj Maharshi, who received the formula from his own ayurvedic guru, name unknown. It is supposedly an ancient formula, the origins of it has never been disclosed by MAPI. They talk about it as the original rasayana but that is baseless. According to Dr Hari Sharma's book, the formula was "restored" by the 3 principal doctors (Dwivedi, Triguna, Maharshi) that Maharishi Mahesh Yogi originally commissioned in the 80's to develop the Maharishi Ayurveda programme. The Amrit tablets is another formula that was added, I believe it came from Triguna and/or Dwivedi. - Ole
