Guest guest
It's a very interesting topic on Bhringaraja, dr bhate has given an excellent indetailed information on bhringaraj, besides dr shirish bhate's contributions, i would like to add some more out of my experiences with bhringaraja. I have been getting excellent results an oil being prepared by me with bringa raja. This formulation sourced from the text"Saranga dhara samhita" and "Basava rajeeyam"(It is available in local language Telugu written by "Neela kantha basavaraju" 17 th century. ) The reference is like this. "Bhringaraja rasaineva loha kittam phalam trikam saaribaat pachet kalkam tailam daruna nashanam akaala phalitam kandoom indraluptamcha naashayet". Ingredients: Bhringa raja swarasa 4 parts Tila tailam 1 part 1 Loha kittam(Mandoora or iron rust powder. I am using iron rust) 2 Hareetaki 3 Vibheetaki 4 Amlaki 5 Saribha 1,2,3,4,5 together 1/4 part. To be prepared as per taila paka vidhi. As per my personal observation taila has to be used after month from the day of preparation for desired results. And it would be much better if oil is prepared in an earthen pot or vessel. Indications: Scalp itching (Kandoo) Premature greying hair(Akaala phalitam) Progressive loss of hair(Indraluptam) It is also inducing sound sleep, keeping head cool in some of the patients. Usage: Massage the sufficient quantity of oil over the scalp at bed time. You may clean next day morning or can have head bath. Better not to use any kind of shampoo ,Use reetha or shikakai for washing hair.Never bother about the natural smell of the oil.
