Guest guest
huh? if eggs are not overcooked and eaten alone they are digested very rapidly - the stomach is the perfect instrument for this, and the body produces all the enzymes needed to digest it - unlike milk in most people... Guest guest
I guess the stomach digests them, but they still stay in the intestines for along time I think eggs are excelleent nutritionally though they have amounts of cholesterol,so people with heart ailments are not suppose to eat eggs,or the yolks(or very little of them) ,as I have a heart ailment (among other ailments) and I notice if I eat eggs or products with eggs it will definately effect me. In yogic/tantric philosophy they espouse vegitarianism, and my teacher says - Also though as in oriental medicine(Chinese particulary) which is based on Ayurvedica,or the same principles, the balance of the body's syssystems, eggs produce too much heat or fire(the heart is represented by the element of fire)and dehydrate the body,or unbalance the water system. I have been to an oriental doctor(accupunturist/herbalist) that told me about my own health condition also,he actually siad I had a heart ailement a year before regular doctors dignosed me,but he had told me about what foods to avoid, eggs was one of them,as well as peanut butter. Too much stress on the digestive system, and inbalance the system.
