Guest guest
Dear Jagannath, I do not see the problem in studying stem cell research. In my mind, I think that allopathic medicine is especially good in emergency medicine and surgery. I would put stem cell research in the surgery category. A couple of years ago, I was on a ladder and it slipped out from under me. I broke my leg. I never thought of going to an ayurvedic doctor or any natural healer. I had an operation and my leg is fine. To me stem cell research has intriguing possibilities. It can possibly mend cartilege and also spinal cord. It may be possible to regrow some organs using the persons own tissues. It does not use drugs ( that I know of ) to grow these tissues. It seems to me that this is one area of allopathic medicine that is on the right track. I do not know of any natural healers that can mend a spinal cord except maybe psychic healers but those are few and far between. There is a place for everything and I believe this is one area, allopaths can excel. GB Khalsa
