Hello everybody,

 

We are looking for a good, reliable, inexpensive Ayurveda college in

India, Sri Lanka or Nepal to pursue BAMS (Bachelor of Ayurvedic

Medicine and Surgery) degree. Just wanted to ask if anyone has any

idea where can we find such information? I have tried Indian

Consulate. Not much help from them.

In India there are many medical colleges.For authentic

Ayurveda study somewhere in Kerala.Arya Vaidyasala

Kottakkal, Vaidya ratnam (Trissur) etc have long

reputation.

Dear Giedrius,

Admission to BAMS degree to any university in India is now through a

common entrance test only. The eligibility for the same is the 10+2

level with science subjects. Sanskrit as an optional subject is

preffered.

Most of the colleges are good and reliable. Inexpensive is subjective.

Roughly all the university charge the same amount of fees. It is the

lodging and boarding cost for 5 and a half years that you will have to

consider.

I have already added 3 links of universities or colleges offering BAMS

course. I am lsiting them for you again. However you will have to

hurry as most universities hold their entrance exams in June - July.
