This is a frequently asked question- does ayurevad cure the cancer? - Its really possible to controll various types of cancers with ayurvedic medicines without any side effects. It my experience that in many cases excellent results are seen without any support of chemotherapy. chronic lymphicytic leukemia, some types of sarcomas are the cancers those have shown regerssion with Ayurvedic treatment. In Ayurvedic Pharmacology, mangosteen is known as Vrikshamla. Latin Name - Garcinia indica English Name - Mangosteen oil tree, Kokam butter tree Sanskrit Name - Vrikshamla Garcinia indica is a slender evergreen tree with drooping branches and five to eight large seeds. The fruits has an agreeable flavor and a sweetish sour taste. Kokam contains 10% malic acid and tartaric or citric acid. It is used as a garnish to give sour taste to curries and also to prepare cooling syrups during the summer months. Various chemical constituents have been identified from the fruit. The fruit is used as anthelmintic, cardiotonic and useful in piles, dysentry, tumors, pains and heart complaints. Syrup made from fruit juice is given for billious affections. It is also known to reduce weight. The root is atringent I hope this will help.
