Hello,

I am writing for advice for a friend. He recently went to the

hospital for excessive vomiting, they put him on fluids, ran tests,

dosed him with morphine for pain and checked him out the same day with

a diagnosis of gastritis. They gave him phenegrin for vomiting and

vicadin for pain. None of this has helped and he is in pain and still

vomiting regularly. He went back to another clinic last night and they

did nothing either. His wife said she looked up gastritis and it's

causes, none of which he does excessively (drinking, caffeine,

ibuprofins etc) and says it runs a 7-10 day course of his current

symptoms. This seems like a long time to go with out food or much in

his stomach.

I suggested aloe gel, but wonder if any of you have other suggestions.

The night before he fell ill they had curry for dinner with some wine,

which probably tipped off his excess pitta and here we are....

Please help if you have the time, and thank you in advance.

Bless

Rebecca

This sounds like pancreatitis to me - my husband had it twice in his

life and those were definitely some of his complaints. Have someone

check his amalyse levels.

Pl check up:

http://health.ayurveda/message/2903

IN case above line is broken, select and copy paste the link into

browser window to access the message.

This appears like pancreatic cysts, some liver problem or spleen enlargement. IN

the presence of patient, ayurvedists close eyes and diagnose by just touch.

Try:

Karpur Ras; 1-2 tabs with water, twice or thrice a day.

Feed only green gram water with a little honey max 1-1/2 tsp

Dear Rebecca,

Your friend's is due to excessive pitta

secretion in to the stomach which is irritatiting

gastric mucosa and this is leading to vomiting and not

allowing food. For which i would suggest one simple

and effective remedy and some medicines to be

continued.

1)2 spoons of dry dates powder(seeds to be

removed)with milk on empty stomack daily.

The medicines are

1)Tab.Laghu Sutashekhara Ras

2 tab 4 times/day

2)Dadeemavaleha(It is available in syrup form)

30 ml every 4 hrs.

Laga manda to be given as food.(puffed rice(Murmure)

to be cooked in 8 times of water and reduce to 1/2 a

quantity of water.)
