Dear Martha,

I find your question appreciable, and it would

be a pleasure to explain you.

Before i answer your question,Let me evoke

myself about the usage of improperly translated

terminologies of ayurveda which may never convey the

complete and accurate sense of the original sanskrit

terminology.I feel embarrased, when i come across such

terminologies quite frequently being used by our

group members who have UNDERSTOOD ayurveda.I think

its high time ,that we realise the rich terminology of

ayurveda and get confined to it,to serve our ayurveda

much better.

My intension is to purely unfold my

profound feeling,my regards to the medical system and

drive it better.I have my respects for one and all and

im not against anyone in saying so.Lets carry the rich

heritage of ayurveda in a much more better way.

Coming to your case, im worried what you meant

when u said cooling? Did u mean sheetaveerya? Well,

guduchi [raw] is ushna veerya and guduchi satwa is

sheeta veerya.Guduchi satwa [sheeta veerya] is being

opted to pacify the ushna veerya of aswagandha and

trikatu as well.

Aswagandha is balya,brumhana and rasayana.Trikatu

is having gunas of deepana and pachana which

facilitate the JATARAGNI further favouring the

brumhana karma of aswagandha.

And about the steps 2 and 3..those three are

the ingredients to be mixed together to get a single

dose.i.e 3GRMS of ASWAGANDHA and 1.5grms of TRIKATU

and 1grm of GUDUCHI SATWA.

I would be privileged in letting you understand

further clarifications if any.
