Guest guest
Hi Karthik; Namaste; Please be informed that white sugar is processed over charred beef bones to receive the shine and I'm not sure how/why. The molasses/mineral rich constituents are then added back in to make the commercially knwn "brown sugar". I heard yesterday on an audioo tape with Dr. Sarita Shrestha that "sugar candy" the rock sugar? can be kapha reducing; I do not know how it is prepared, but it is much less sweet. It is used medicinally in some cases, such as sitopoladi churna. This is my contribution I look forward to the other anwsers to your questions also. Blessings; Martha
