Guest guest
Dear Martha, Your friend's problem is due to vata prakopa ,as per my view it can be diagnosed as URDWAVATA in which one of the main symptoms is constipation i.e Malavibandha/Malavarodha. The main object of the treament is vatanulomana chikitsas are suggested. Hense i here suggest some of the suitable medicines. 1 Panchasakara churnam or Agnimukha churna or Avipathi churna. (Prefferably self prepared by a physician, not from any pharmacy who makes the powders through pulverisers) 3 to 6 grms at bed time with luke warm water. 2. tab Arogya vardhini vati. 1 tab 3 times daily with water 1 hr after food. 3.Apply or gently massage Eranda tailam (castor oil) over the lower abdomen and place 1/2 spoon of the of warm oil in the umblicus for 15 min, every day . Rice congee with saindhava lavana(rock salt) and pepper powder and a little quantity of cow ghee allowed , Isabgol is not suitable. Avoid bread, potato, curd, bengal gram dal and eggs continue this treatment for 3 months and let me have the feed back . Hoping you a soon recovery by the grace of lord Dhanwantari. --- doulaminerva <martha wrote: > I had a friend come in yesterday with unusual bowel > challenges, so > much upward moving pranas and bowel not moving 2 > weeks.
