Guest guest
Dear Members, I am suffering from slightly high blood pressure (90/140 - 100/140). I am 31 yrs old, Male I dont have any other serious problems. I want to avoid taking medicines but control the BP. Is there any home remedies lowering BP. I know yoga can control BP but I am doing only Savasana daily for 5 minutes. Please also let me know if I dont take medicines, can the said pressure damage kidney/lever in the long run. Thanks for the help. Kannan

Guest guest
Dear Mr.Kannan, Recommended aasanas for High blood pressure(has to be done in the following order) 1. Shavaasana -- 1 turn/times -- 5 minutes/duration 2. Ardha Halaasana -- 4 turns -- 3 to 7 seconds each turn 3. Ardha Paschimottaanaasana -- 4 turns -- 3 to 6 seconds each turn 4. Vipeeratakarani -- 3 turns -- 2 to 5 minutes each turn 5. Shavaasana -- 1 turn -- 5 minutes 6. Naadi Shuddhi praanaayaama - 5 to 7 minutes. Time consumed for performing these aasanas 45 minutes (Approx) Learn those aasanas with proper yogic expert. You may slightly modify the above scheme depending on the body condition of the patient. If you have already done aasanas-Increase all the aasanas gradually. If it the first time and if you are above 60 yrs-Decrease gradually all the above stipulated aasanas. Do aasanas in early morning, have noting except fresh water before aasanas, Atleast 20 minutes time to be allowed for intake after aasanas. with care V.Balaji www.girinathyoga.com kankan_73 <kankan_73 wrote: Dear Members, I am suffering from slightly high blood pressure (90/140 - 100/140).
