Guest guest
Hi! My wife, who is heading Accenture's Knowledge Management division in India, has secured admission to the off-campus "PhD in Management" program, combinedly offered by Birla Institute of Science & Technology (BITS, Pilani) and S P Jain Institute of Management & Research (SPJIMR, Mumbai). For her PhD thesis, she wishes to undertake research on how Knowledge Management (KM) could help enhance competitiveness of the Ayurveda industry. KM, to put it in a nutshell, deals with capture/ creation, packaging (eg translation from sanskrit), storage (eg databases, portals), protection (eg copywrites) and effective deployment/ utilization of knowledge. I would welcome inputs towards identifying the areas where knowledge management (KM) opportunities exist in the Ayurveda value chain, so as to then undertake research on developing a KM solution for one of them. I would also appreciate any thoughts you could provide on the best research methodology and sources of information. Vinod
Rajiv Vasudevan
Hullo Vinod, Application of KM concepts to Ayurveda is an interest of mine too. May I suggest that we establish one to one email contact and take it from there? Thanks, Rajiv Vasudevan rajiv_vasudevan@
