Guest guest
Hi Jennifer > I did some surveys on the net & found that i am a mix of pitta & > vatta. Should i enhance this with vatta & pitta massage oil or > balance myself with kapha? - that is lacking? It may be better to consult an ayurvedic physician as it is difficult to judge the constitution, especially your own. If a person is of Vata/Pitta constition a kapha oil may prove balancing. I found it quite easy to judge the persons constitution through a combination of Indian Astrology and a personal consultation. > Also, I received some Brahmi powder. I realize this can be taken > internally, but can it be applied externally with good results & > where should it be applied for best absorbtion? - mixed in oil?? Take 100 gram Brahmi powder and boil in 4 liter Water down to ½ liter. Taka away the herms and boil the decogtion with 1 liter oil. Boil untill most water has evaporated. Next day boil it untill the rest of the water has gone. Now pour the oil through a sieve - and it is ready for use. Especielly good for the hair and in 3rd eye. > Another substance i have is called ashwagandha - hard clusters of a > granular nature. What is its best application & how should it be > mixed & applied? > I would really appreciate advice put forward & thank you in advance. > jennifer. Ashwagandha is a tonic for persons with Vata constitutions. If you need a good book I can recommend "Yoga of herbs" - David Frawley.
