Guest guest
i would contend that ojas, tejas and prana are simply a higher octave of kapha, pitta, and prana, i.e. the doshas are ojas/tejas/prana in a disturbed state but how this supports your contention that there is no ojas loss with pregnancy and childbirth is unclear there are two forms of ojas: ardhanjali ('one handful,' or apara ojas) and ashta bindu ('8 drops,' or para ojas) - in regard to pregnancy we are referring to the former, which undergoes continuous flux dependent upon health - the latter cannot be changed because it is jiva - the life force - and only leaves the body upon death - in this respect the concept is very similar to the chinese concept of pre and post-natal qi now, perhaps what you are referring is the transmutation of ojas into amrita? this is an important distinction that i think is sometimes missed - anyone can build up ojas with the correct regimen, but enhancing ojas does not equal enhanced spiritual potency, only a potential top develop it further, i.e. transmute it into a still higher octave, i.e. amrita, the 'divine nectar' i meet lots of people with great ojas - think of soldiers, pro athletes etc., but there is no corresponding increase in their spiritual awareness
