I have practiced both Bikram & Vinyasa yoga (currently with Vinyasa) and do get a LOT of spiritual sustenence from the practice. I guess my question is a banal one, but any suggestions on a type of yoga that is good for the abdomen specifically and for digestion would be much appreciated. The 'types' mentioned by you are basically named after the teacher. Yogic practices can vary from teacher to teacher but only in terms of style and emphasis. Basic practices remain the same. All practices that massage your endocrin system are good for stomach/digestion. e.g.. Paschimottan Asan, Yog Mudra (Shashank Asan) i.e Rabbit pose, Mayur Asan i.e. Peacock pose.
