Dear Timlu,

In Ayurveda, pain means Vata vitiation in 80% cases. HOwever,

whetehre something is sciatica, gout, osteo arthritis or rheumatism,

is difficult to tell just based on location of the pain. 50% cure of

any ailment is correct diagnosis itself. In cold climate, Vatis pains

increase.

Other day, while doing regular vajrasana, slightly different location

on the sitting pad caused some streching of the sole and started

giving back pain at almost same spot you described. Within two days

pain vanished by itself, when a little accupressure on sole of the

foot was given. This self experience itself proves that every event is

unique.

Hence, it will be difficult to suggest anything specifically for you,

since every "prakruti" is unique. If you can utilise general posts

given on this board, you will be doing it on your responsibility

alone, which holds for every online website on internet. Other

technique is that keep on experiementing on yourself, a fundamental

right offered by constitution.

Best advice that can be given is that you consult someone in

neighbour hood.

Regards

Dr Bhate

I don't know what this problem of mine is . Actually I am having pain

on my right side of the back in the middle and also in the knee of

both my legs and also in the thumb (I don't know what to call but the

place just above thumb) of both my legs. My height is 5' 9" and my

weight is 80 kgs. and of age 30. I have been to doctors but I get

temporary relief and the pain in the back again starts after some

time. Will you please provide me some solution to this problem of mine.
