Guest guest Posted November 2, 2004 Report Share Posted November 2, 2004 In Dr. Vasant Lad's book " The Complete Book of Ayurvedic Home Remedies" he refers to Dashamoola Basti and I have been looking for Dashamoola for a long time and I came across today Dasamoolarishtam, my questions to the group is this the same as Dr. Lad recomends on the bottle it has that it is a herbal dietary supplement? Only roots are collected of five trees ingredients and whole plants are collected including flowers and fruits of remaining five plants also known as Laghu Panchmoola: Brihat Pancamoola 1. Vilba (Aegle marmelos Corr.) (Root) 2. Agnimantha (Premna integrifolia Linn) (Root) 3. Syonaka (Oroxylum indicum Vnt.) (Root) 4.Gambhari (Gmelina arborea Linn.) (Root) 5.Patala (Stereospermum suaveolens DC.) (Root) Laghu Pancamoola 6. Salaparni (Dwsmodium gangeticum DC.) (Whole Plant i.e.Root,Stem,Leaves,Flower and Fruits) 7.Prisniparni (Uraria picta Desv.
