Guest guest
On the subject of long term use, from a different concern I have a question of researchers and vaidyas. I have heard the suggestion by Dr. Saraswati Burhrman that Brahmis she guesses increase serotonin. I would be very curious to know if anyone can say yes or no with certainty/research? I have been following this SSRI (serotinergic re-uptake inhibitor drugs) discussion with particular interest due to recent (previously hidden) research from the drug companies themselves showing many problems (Reports at www.drugawareness.org and others), and at the same time hearing very respected to me vaidyas speak in passing about various herbs or therapies to indicate possibly also being misled by the drug companies in assumptions to increase serotonin and is a good thing. >From what I can tell, the true chemistry therein we seriously want to avoid (inhibiting the re-uptake of this brain waste chemical thought to be beneficient. The reuptake meaning the break down/digestion of it - quite a confusing way of talking). Forgive this long way around to saying, I am concerned about the misinformation that seems to be floating around, and while we are at it, are brahmi or other herbs acting in this way to any extent researched?
