Derived from its ancient Sanskrit roots - 'ayu' (life) and 'ved' (knowledge) and offering a rich, comprehensive outlook to a healthy life. We could say that Ayurveda is an ancient healthcare system of India based on the eternal principles of healthy life. The word "Ayu" in ancient language, Sanskrit means Life or daily living and "Veda" means Science. Thus Ayurveda is the name given to the science of life and longevity, which is a vast body of invaluable knowledge, with eight branches. We could say that Ayurveda is a nontoxic body fortified with natural and herbal nourishments is the abode of a creative mind, and indomitable sprit.
