Guest guest
holy smokes Deana - i think it would be wise for you to follow those recommendations.... i think EVERYONE benefits from going on an anti-candida diet simply because it is a diet that removes the bulk of problems foods from the diet because candida is a human commensal, which means that almost everybody has this organism in varying amounts, it notoriously difficult to diagnose this condition accurately to be totally honest, unless i can actually detect the mycelia (e.g. thrush) i personally don't treat candida - i treat ama candida is simply a symptom of autotoxicity - it is the "smoke" that indicates the raging "fire" of ama i think ama is underestimated to a large degree - people get caught up in what doshas are aggravated etc but in truth FIRST TREAT THE AMA then we will see indeed what doshas are vitiated best... Guest guest
How do I treat the Ama ?? and where is the anti-candida diet ? I found this recipe.. does this sound like a good thing for me to start drinking.. *Ama Pachana Spice Water* To make the water, boil two quarts of water and put it in a thermos flask. Then add two to three thin slices of fresh ginger, 1/4 tsp. cumin, 1/4 tsp. fennel, 2 black peppercorns, and 2 leaves of mint. Let it steep. Drink this water throughout the day for a very purifying effect. Also, this ama pachana water will help enhance your digestion. Thanks Hugs Deana
Guest guest
dear deana amapachana means "ama cooking," and the formula you describe is helpful to reduce/prevent ama, but will only be truly helpful in addition to the dietary and herbal recommendations already suggested in messages 2560 and 2572 you can also search the archives under "ama" b/c myself and several other writers have discussed this issue at length best...todd > How do I treat the Ama ?? and where is the anti-candida diet ?
