Guest guest
I am not a Vaidya. From the perspective of a lay man there is one important aspect that could avoid this kind of situations from arising often. There is a lot of mystery around Ayurvedic Medicines. The patients do not know whats included and in most cases the practioners do not explain what they are prescribing. If a practioner is transparent with the patient about the substances included it would reduce the chances of such misunderstanding. Atleast the patient would be aware and by consuming it he would be consenting to its use and thats a good defence for a practioner. One can even go another step forward and inform the patient about the possible ill effects of its ingredients. This last point is debatable. Guest guest
Good. Paracetamol causes liver damage, asprin causes bleeding, predinisolone makes rheumatism worse, Nasids cause kidney damage. If doctors are transparent the patients will never take medicine. We disagree with western sciences claims of ill effects of metals. I dont accept them as authorities of health science. They can verify our patients and test for ill effects. There is no such facility. We are not given enough oppurtunity to disprove their claims. Even a Indian allopathic doctor talks, I think no one respect his words. Science is coming from the west. It is only dominance and not science. No need to go agree with them. R.Vidhyasagar.
