Dabur tastes crappy! And I think they put too much of the heating spices in it. There are some good sources for Chyvanprash from Ayurvedic centers in India on the internet. Also, in the US, I like "Nature's Formulary" brand of Chyvanaprash that was developed by Dr. Vasant Lad. It tastes the closest I've found to the traditional ones from India. But if you want to save money, order from an authentic source in India. Blessings, Achintya
Guest guest
Chyvanprash from Dabur is poison. It is made from extracts and has a very sour taste and will create very rapid pitta symptoms. Many Chyvanprash products sold here are not good. I like the ones from Maharishi and the new ones from Banyan - but they are both very expensive, I wonder if someone knows of a real source for properly made Chyvanprash from India?
