presence of gold, silver and iron particles in certain ayurvedic medicines

Hello,

I have a query...I would like to know if the presence of gold,

silver and iron particles in certain ayurvedic medicines, can be

hazardous to some individuals. I've known some people who've taken

prescribed ayurvedic medicines, which contained gold in them, and the

results were found to be rather harmful,aggravating. I am aware that

many ayurvedic remedies contain gold etc in them, and books on

ayurveda also recommend such. But from what I've known, I am

profoundly skeptical, and would truly appreciate if my doubt on this

could be cleared.
