Guest guest
thanks for the additions Dr. Bhate nasya is indeed an interesting and unique therapy your comments however beg discussion of another issue, that of marma chikitsa to my understanding marmas are the 'death-points' that are avoided by surgeons etc. at least this is how this subject is introduced and discussed in the classical texts in this context i have always found the discussion of marma therapy, which appears to be somewhat popular here in the West, somewhat puzzling when i was studying in Kerala i was told of a complimentary system of points in kalari that can be used to treat injuries to the marmas points, but that direct treatment is not given to the marmas specifically - rather, these points are known so that one can easily disable their opponent in battle comments? Guest guest
Dear Instead of commenting on the details of marma therapy on this board, let the author list the reference to in-depth discussion: http://www.mlbd.com/msubjdisp.asp?subname=bestsellers&Page=8&nxtPage=1 This is the only book fully on marma therapy, other than scattered but scanty literature. While this book is available on-line from many other sites at higher cost, this site offers a paper back at nearly 1/3 cost.
