Guest guest
While western women try to get sun tan on their skin, in India, fair skin is sought by everyone, especially teenager girls and women. Working women may have to travel and subject their skin to heat of sun. The tan developed as a result can be bleached by receipes mentioned here. While many different herbal formulae exist, the author has chosen what is generally available in Indian kitchen. 1. Mix 1 tsp tomato (ripe) juice, 1 tsp cucumber juice and half lime fruit juice. Keep in fridge to make it cool, say half an hour. Apply on face and neck and let dry. Clean face and neck with cold water. This pack acts as a natural bleaching agent and removes slight tan developed by exposure to sunlight. Brightens the face. 2. Mix 2 tsp cucumber juice and 2 tsp potato juice (do not remove skin while juicing) and apply on the face and neck. Wash after drying. This pack not only glows the skin but also useful to remove blemishes. 3. Mix rose water and lime juice in equal proportion (to make about 3 tsp mixture) and apply similarly as above receipe. The blemishes caused by pimples and sticky sweat can be removed by this pack. To obtain good results, one of the above packs must be applied daily for at least 10 days. The results will be evident from 5th day itself. Tomato in reference are juicy ones, of Indian origin and not fleshy ones – hybrid variety.
