Guest guest
Dear Dr Vidyasagar, There is a difference between " treating " and " curing ". Nobody has stopped anybody from trying to "treat" a disease. We cannot claim that we can "cure" a disease, since Ayurveda iteslf has a term called "Asadhya roga" - difficult to treat or impossible to cure. That does not stop you from "attempting to cure" it, which is also called "treating" it, or giving treatment for it, which may be palliative or curative. I also do not feel any particular government is responsible for how these things get "labelled". This should be a non-political issue. The treatment of Appendicitis, or Tonsillitis, or Brain tumor or whatever else, is not dependent on who is in power. The treatment remains the same.
