Guest guest Posted May 18, 2004 Report Share Posted May 18, 2004 I took my mother to the doctor today, she has dementia and was acting totally strange, and looking for her daughter, who is me, but kept calling me Florence. Well, to make the long story short, after we got to the doctor they suspected a urinary tract infection, instead they found some blood. She, the doctor stated she was not concerned. Is it me, or is there something wrong with this picture? My mom is 85 years old, I would assume that blood coming from any orifice from the body would be of questionable concern. What do you all think?? She did have a biopsy of her kidney done not long ago, and the doctor's were very evasive in the answer they gave me, and still are. I find this very strange!!
