Guest guest
Namaste. I am wondering if anyone out there has had any success treating a skin condition called Tinia Versicolor? It is a sannipatika condition, and viewed as non-curable by Western Science. I am 50% Pitta, 40% Kapha, 10% Vata Prakruti. I am taking a brahmi formula for the manovaha..and also a neem/gentian/manjista/burdock formula for clearing my liver and excess pitta. As oil/abyhanga is contraindicated due to the strong pitta/kapha vitiation, does anyone have an idea of a topical treatment? Is there any herb that you can think of that has the prabave of being an anti-fungal/yeast antagonist? I have tried with some success to put dandruff shampoo (selenium sulfide 1%) on the area and sleep with it, and shower in the morning.. this worked, but also dried my skin to excess. As this condition is aggravated by Kapha and Pitta, would a neem ghritam or other cold, bitter gritam be contraindicated? Thank you for any advice. Namaste.
