Alpaji,

There is insufficient information about you.

Also, you may not want to make all your information public.

Its best to see an Ayurvedic practitioner personally.

For example, are you single or married or divorced ?

Have your children moved away because of college or job or other reasons ?

Is your marital relationship fulfilling ?

Are you satisfied , happy, or unhappy in your current job?

Are your relationships with your neighbors friendly or antagonisitc?

Are you a loner or do you have lots of friends?

Are you involved in public service as in arranging different functions for the

good of the society ?

The cold climate may have something to do with it, but can you really move away

from your current situation, as in job, marriage or whatever ?

You must address these issues, with or without Ayurvedic medications.

Massage your feey, especially the soles of the feet, with Ashwagandha and Bala

oil, everynight, drink warm milk with almonds and rose petals, everynight. Drink

warm water in the morning with honey , fresh lemon, anf ginger, for starters.

With or without this treatment, you have to address your other issues.

There is also a genetic factor and an enzymatic factor. Ayurveda believes in

Nasya--drops of oil in the nostrils. The same oil that you use on the sole of

the feet can be dropped ( a few drops) in each nostril. Depression is kapha, but

anxiety can be vata/ pitta. Ashwagandha/ Bala oil is good for this problem.
