Hi Vinod,

Thanks again for this wonderful view on this subject, I´m less than

24 hours in my new residence, but I love to check the evolution of

this subject.

I been very happy with the training given in Classical Ayurveda , I

spent nearly 20 years in several places in India, devoted to the

study of India culture including Ayur Veda, of course I am a

westerner, and it was not easy, visa problems, moving back to the

west, make your living and then come back.

My belief in ayurveda grew with time,(academic study and

practice) not blind faith, I spent a great deal learning the Shastras

(I dind´t even bother to study modern medicine, I didn´t consider to

spend time with it. But when I try to apply the ancient wisdom of

ayurveda in the UK, I found an strong impediment, so much red tape

and beuracratic regulations basically imposed to preserve the modern

pharmacy business.

The teacher on the ayurvedic school, told me that I should

compulsory study modern Phisiology and Anatomy, this is the law here.

Ok I accept the facts, after all the learning process provable will

never end, but I have to admit that I felt quite frustrated with

the time to be spend in learning all this modern subjects, and what I

really wanted is to make a simple living by helping people. Any

way,in order to make money to live I have to run fashion business, I

prefer not to cheat anyone and becoming a bogus practitioner.

Of course this is only my personal experience.

best wishes

chainita
