do this neha

go to pub med

http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/PubMed/

type in the search engine:

vegetarianism AND B 12

or

vegetarianism AND cobalamin

you will find several papers that discuss this issue

then come back to the list with an informed opinion

anyway, instead of saying any book on medicine says there is no risk, how about

suggesting one for us to read, or of you the same mind as Vinod that you don't

need

to?

my assessment of risk of b12 deficiency in vegetarians is lowest in lacto-ovos,

then

lactos, and highest in vegans
