Guest guest
Yes... I eat meat! I 'v tried to become a vegetarian twice in my life and have gotten sick both times. & Yes . with all modesty set aside, I consider myself spiritually minded more so then the average person. I have battled this in my mind for years trying to justify my meat eating. It seems that when man has no more use for something in this world it becomes extinct. A world without cows? . People are staving to death all over the world, is any food source fair game? .... I still have my canine teeth! .. All my ancestors ate meat. Just recently (last year and half) I lost 30lb. of muscle mass because my testosterone drop to low. I have been receiving testosterone shots every two weeks for the last three months and eating tons of fish and chicken to gain the muscle back ..Didn't Jesus Eat fish? .. I believe that the Dali Lama eats meat also! Yes... I believe that eating meat is still a primitive act, but I don't believe that man has evolved enough for all of us to overcome it at this point in time. I know that evolution has to start somewhere, and I am grateful for those of you who are the forerunners in this endeavor, but be careful not to forfeit your health for a principle. I don't think your creator would wish this for you. Personally I believe that the aggressive mental actions of both sides of the belief is more detrimental then the act of eating or not eating meat. FYI ..If your not eating meat or sea vegetables you have seven years before your liver runs out of B12..Bless all of you for your work.. Noel ... Guest guest
Here we go again - unsubstantiated assertions. No one in my family or of my ordinary acquaintance eats meat or sea vegetables and never has. they do not have even the slightest hint of B 12 defeciency. Repeating myths doesn't make them true. This is an old saw without any teeth. I am 64 and live a blessed life (health wise) and have never taken any meat or sea vegetables and I will gladly compare my B 12 levels to yours. By the way B 12 defeciency is also common among flesh eaters. Improve the health of your digestive processes and the small intestine - and therefore proper functioning of 'intrinsic factor' - this will produce all of the B 12 you can use. B vitamin synthasis in the intestines is in no way dependent on whether you eat meat or not. Why do certain people ignore all facts to 'prove' their points. Meat eaters for some reason think they are haealthier than others. Read the statistics in America for the epedimic of degenerative diseases processes. Meateaters are among the most unhealthy people in the world why do they keep pointing their fingers at vegetarians. What in the world do these people think they are 'proving'. For me the only proof I see is of a narrow unsubstantated prejudice. > FYI ..If your not eating meat or sea vegetables you have seven > years before your liver runs out of B12..Bless all of you for your work.. > Noel ... >
