Another way to look at this is to do a simple experiment. Leave meat out for a

certain length of time. Also leave out another food for the same amount of

time. I can think of no other food that will putrify or ferment faster than

meat. Maybe there is another food that will go bad faster. Most people would

have no problem taking an apple out of the refridgerator, leaving it out

overnight and eating it in the morning. I doubt if most people would do that

with meatThe point is that meat is a natural culture for pathenogens. Those

pathenogens go into our digestive tract and circulate through our bodies. It

generally takes a much longer time to excrete than other food since it has

little fiber. Meat is much higher in saturated fats than most other foods.

Since animals are higher on the food chain, they tend to have higher

concentrations of chemicals. Some are even given chemicals to "enhance"

production.

When an animal is killed, the body will emit "fear" chemicals. When people eat

the meat, these "fear" chemicals enter the person who partakes and on some

level can make the person who eats the meat "fearful". Of course everyone is

different to how they respond to different foods. Each food sets up a certain

vibration.

Re: Diet Considerations for Health

As I have understood, food is live substance. The vibrations around meats are

negative because of the fear, pain and suffering of the creature sacrificed for

eating. Since animals are more evolved than vegetables, the negative vibrations

in meat are stronger than in vegetables. These vibrations do affect one's inner

peace i.e meditative state. One may overcome the vibrations but its avoidable.

May be the non Hindus did not lay much stress on this aspect and did not

specifically try it or study it.
