Delivery without a medico

Dear Vaidyas,

 

Mother is treated as a godess in Indian mythology. Even christian

mother mary is with a child. While city women want all kinds of

modern luxuries and a qualified obstetrician to be present, here is a

situation, where mother has carried our a heroic act, to deliver and

save her child.

I heard that Ayurveda has treatments during pregnancy, so that

pregnancy can be normal rather than with surgery. I wonder why

proportion of C-section pregnancies has increased so much these days?

Can anyone suggest precautions so that pregnancies are problem free?
