Guest guest
Dear Durgesh, Not everyone gets affected equally by poisons. How the obstetric intervention in normal and C-section delivery affects both mother and child, I am very incompetant to prove, being Ayurvedist to heart. Moreover, this subject is way out of Ayurveda according to a scientist. However, when a case comes to an ayurvedist, he must understand the root cause (to arrive at proper treatment) and also, todays patient expects an ayurvedist to answer "but why this Kapha unbalance/back pain/obessity after pregnancy? It does not occur to everyone!, Why only me? I take only fruit juices etc." Menopause related obessity gets explained by imbalance. The women who did not become obesse after spinal anasthetics perhaps did not have Kapha unbalance to start with. But large number of them, after pregnancy with intervention, put up 15-25 Kg. One reason for this may be lack of Massage, fomentation/hot bath and "Methi Laddu" by Grand- Mas when there is C-section. In olden days, pregnant moms were given all this when they delivered normally in home and not hospitals. Hence, it was thought best to quote some literature reg. spinals or epidurals with steroids. Since the subject matter may not be of much interest to most of members except those who are on way to parenthood, already obese after pregnancy or are health professional, two files have been stored on Ayurvedaonline group files. Obstetric Interventions Obstetric Intervention1 Since this info is way out of ayurveda, files will be deleted in a weeks time.
