Guest guest
Dear chicetbeau, Thank you for drawing the attention of the author to LCPD. Since names of the diseases differ in ayurveda and allopathy, it takes time to understand. The joining bridge is only symptoms and history. With ongoing experience on only one patient, the author cant comment much on the LCPD generic treatment, but he can only communicate the simplistic ayurvedic approach taken in one case and some guideline for your case. A boy aged 8 approached with a limp. He used to cough a lot after very little physical activity, and was always sad as he coud not play well with his friends. The inferiority complex was also building in. On check up, heart was found beating irregularly. The limp, was stated about two years ago. Some pain killers took care at that time, but limp remained. After allopaths told that the limp will remain a little and may cure by itself, the parents had accepted the fate. After heart treatment and general detoxification for three months, the limp improved a little, say 15%. Encouraged by the experience, he was put on following: Bal Pal Ras 1 - 1 Tsp with equal water Trayodashansh Guggulu 1 - 1 Tab Rasnadi Guggulu 1 - 1 Tab Laxadi Guggulu 1 - 1 Tab daily Mahanarayan Tail massage on thighs and legs. The limp is reducing further and the treatment continued. The Bal Pal Ras is our Panch Gavya detoxification and tonic together (Details at govigyan.com) These details, though not applicable to you, are given here so that you may be of some help to other children in your neighborhood. In your case, for one month, First try dipping your legs in a 20 litre bucket half full of hot water with 4 tsp salt and 1/2 tsp baking powder added, a little before you expect the pains to start. Keep dipped for 20-30 minutes. Mix dry ginger powder 1/4 tsp, carbonate of soda one pinch, and asafetida powder 1 pinch and Godanti Hartal Bhasma 4 pinches in warm water (100 ml) and drink this water twice a day. Check if light massage by Mahanarayan Taila for 5-10 minutes helps to relieve pains. All medicines referred to herein will be available on allayurveda.com If these remedies help even 5%, further guidelines can be given.
