In the practice, author of this mail uses Satawari and Yeshtimadhu. More herbs are added such as Gokharu, Vidarikand, Musli (white and black), Bahman (White and reddish), Kapikkachu, etc depending on the effects desired. Some practitioners recommend Aamalaki also, but author does not use it since, the mixture is to be boiled in milk+water mixture till water vaporises. Most of the time, the mixtures are used for recuperating power, dhatu pushti, aphrodisiacs. When some medicines produce weakness due to their action, it becomes inevitable to give this. A universal law of medicine is that no medicine acts withot loss of some "Prana-shakti". A practitioner must see that this is compensated by other means, or loss is minimised by diet management and rest. Regards Dr. Bhate
