Guest guest
well, with all due respect I think that he misunderstands the axiom but this wouldn't be the first time Vasant Lad and I have a difference of opinion let somebody examine what I've stated and find a problem with it the idea of actually trying to feed somebody food while they have a fever is pure nonsense and I ask all of you - who feels like eating when you are sick in bed with a fever?! Compliance alone defeats this as a literal axiom and please, just call me Todd :-) > > > Dr > > In his book Ayurvedic Remedies, Dr Vasant Lad mentions this so called > axiom but he does not take it allegorically as you do, but very > literally. Guest guest
I agree with you completely, just based on experience, with child hood illness, and my own pneumonia. One can barely left ones head of the pillow, let alone gouge down a meal! But.....when I do get a cold in my head and chest, for some reason I am starving. It may be due to swallowing mucous, so the stomach could be sending hunger signals.
