Dear Dr. Vidhyasagar- what exactly are you critiquing? most folks (westerners and indians alike) writing in w/complaints on this list are stating what they believe (perhaps erroneously) is their prakriti, not vikriti, not really understanding the difference between these concepts but we haven't the benefit of knowing who you are perhaps a brief introduction is in order Caldecott
Guest guest
Dear Dr.(what do you mean by that??) Vidyasagar, I think it is an appreciable fact that westerners are trying to understand and make practical use of the knowledge of ayurveda, by classifying their diseases as vata (not vada), pitta and kapha (you forgot or don't know??). I guess after the formation of the universe (by whichever theory you beleive in), all meaningful and clear knowledge was passed on to you personally and will then be passed on to your grand-daughter. Therefore unless and untill you are kind enough to know what is clear and meaningful we will all continue to swim in this huge sea of ignorance. By the way it would be interesting to know how of many of the group members clearly and meaningfully understood your pearls of wisdom which have clearly come out of the blue for ignorant people like us. Therefore we all await your enlightenment. Cybervaidya.
