Hi Brena & Bonnie,

Sorry it took so long to get back to you, I have been out of town.

I studied Ayurveda five years ago at the California Collage of Ayurveda in Grass

Valley. Since then I have continued my studies in this field adding Medical

Astrology from an Eastern point of view. I run a small practice out of my home

in Auburn, Northern CA, while working full time at a large health store. In the

United States there is no licensing for Ayurveda and probably never will be in

my life time. So, to refer to your self as a 'Doctor' could be construed as

practicing medicine without a license.

Bonnie - Yes! Coriander and Fennel and Cumin are dry herbs that you

can get at a well stocked health food store in the bulk herb section which you

should cook into your food. And yes, the physical and psychological is

connected.

I have read over three hundred e-mails since I got home, so if the

next part does not refer to you, please ignore it.

If you're having pain under your right ribs it could be your liver

or gall bladder that is giving you trouble, and you should stay away from

anything that stimulates it (including Milk Thistle / Silymarin). Amalaki (which

you can get at Banyan Botanicals online) is a better choice for building tissue.

You can't detoxify all the time; you must give everything a break! There's a

rule; Called the rule of sixes; which is: Take something for six days, and take

a day off! Six weeks, take a week off! Six months, take a month off! This is to

give your body a chance to acclimate back to its primordial constitution.

If you're having pain under your left ribs you're most likely have a

pancreas problem. Although your spleen is located here also, chances are with

your other symptoms there is no problem here. Try some Enzymes complexes, and a

high protein diet with maybe some pro-biotics, like in yogurt

It's not a bad idea to read up on Ayurveda so you can get an idea of where

you're heading. David Frawley; founder of the American Institute of Vedic

Studies, has the best correspondence course out there if your interested. Be

careful, the search for health can support the illness........

Brena, like I said, I live in Auburn which may be in your neck of

the woods ..Bless you all! Noel.....

PS. I'm not crazy about diagnosis and prescribing online. People are more

complex then this and I can't do you justice: but if you're not in my neck of

the woods and don't have an experienced practitioner near by, I guess this is

better then nothing........
