allergic flu

Hi everbudy ,

 

My name is girish, i have a few problems, if at all anybudy cud gimme a simple

remedy i wud be extremly thankful.

 

M 29 years old n started practising yoga during da last 8 months... now wheni

started practising i was attacked by allergic flu ..which starts uff in da

morning..and which is disturbin me quite often and has bcome a hinderance in my

practise. By around 12 noon m perfectly awrite ..and the flu is stopped and then

again starts uff in the morning ... m finding it difficult to practise pranayams

.. I have taken medications ...but it has turned futile. I request you to suggest

me simple ayurvedic remedies.

 

I also need to reduce my body weight , a minimum uf 5 kgs , cuz weight is takin

a toll uf my back . Ever since i started practising yoga ..iv become lean and

everbudy around me say that u have lost weight drastically .. but then ... I

actually weigh the same...but only my luks have changed. So if u cud please tell

me how to reduce weight in a short term and is it possible thru ayurvedic remedy

..

your symtoms appear to occur only during the kapha time of day, and

thus tx should probably focus on reducing kapha

for allergies:

no dairy, flour, sugar, fruit, fried and fermented foods

immunosupportive vitamins, i.e. A, B, C, D, E and zinc, omega 3 fatty acids

 

i typically use the chinese patient remedy pe min kan wan for symptoms,

and trikatu to control mucus

 

otherwise consider:

Mritunjayarasa, for mucus and catarrh, i.e. kapha

Yavaniyoga, for disturbed vata

Alarasayana, for inflammation, i.e. pitta

 

also: jala neti, nadi shudh, vamana

 

for weight consider guggulu and lasuna, and a higher protein/lower carb

diet, omega 3 fatty acids, complexed with more muscle-building type

exercise (e.g. kalari or calisthenics)
